Weekly Wrap Up | 8th-14th Jan

Another wrap up post for this last week! I’m hoping that this will help to keep me a little more motivated. Haven’t had quite as productive week as last week but it’s definitely still been quite productive.

Another 4 books read this week! I’m on such a roll and I love it in all honesty. I’ve been missing out on so many amazing books and worlds but at least I’m catching up now finally!

Robyn Hood: Outlaw Princess by John Reynolds – 3 stars

The Fire Queen (The Hundredth Queen, #2) by Emily R. King – 5 stars

The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski – 5 stars

Your Creative Career by Anna Sabino – 5 stars

I really wish I’d liked Robyn Hood: Outlaw Princess more, I imagine it’s a lot more entertaining as a musical though so maybe one day I’ll get to see it and compare it! The second book in The Hundredth Queen series was even more awesome than the first, and I’m so excited to read the third book! Kali is such a cool main character too. I’ll be writing a summary review for all three as soon as I’ve finished the third book courtesy of NetGalley.

I listened to The Last Wish through Audible and the narrator – Peter Kenny – is just so entertaining it really helped me to be emerged into the story! If you’re not aware, the Witcher games are based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s books so if you’re a fan they’re definitely worth a read.

And then there’s Your Creative Career, my last finished book I’ve read. I can’t fault this in terms of being awesome for motivation towards creative entrepreneurialism and I’ll definitely be taking a lot of advice from the book for my own Etsy store very soon!

My next book I’m onto is called Book of Souls by Nadine Nightingale… and oh boy it’s so good right now! I can’t wait to review it but it’s full of awesome references and awesome Ancient Egypt myths and I love it.

As I mentioned above, reading Your Creative Career really got me thinking strongly about my Etsy store! I’ve decided to take things in a different direction but I’m not intending to rush anything this time. I’m going to make sure everything is planned out properly to make sure things go right this time! But I will say this… so many Hama beads will be used. I hope you like my plans, I’ll share them soon!

I saw The Greatest Showman on Tuesday and if you haven’t already seen it… what are you doing? Go see it, right now! (Or wait until Tuesday for Meerkat Movies, like I did). It was such a fun movie and the soundtrack, I can’t stop listening to it!

Other than the above, I’ve spent a lot of time on eBay this week adding listings! I cleaned out my room last week so I had a lot of things to shift. And then today I went on a walk up Rivington Pike so some more photos to finish off again! The weather wasn’t as nice this week sadly but it was still a nice walk!

How’s your week been?

  1. You’ve included some really beautiful imagery here 🙂

Oh my gosh I LOVE The Greatest Showman!! I’ve seen it twice now and can’t stop listening to the soundtrack. It really stays with you 🙂

Sounds like you’ve read some pretty awesome books too – I’ll have to check them out even though my TBR is already scarily huge haha.

    1. Thank you! 😀

I’m completely obsessed with ‘This Is Me’, I loved so many of the songs but that one just got me!

I know that feeling, my TBR pile scares me haha but I definitely recommend checking out The Hundredth Queen series! Includes elemental magic and by the second book the MC starts to remind you more and more of Aelin 😀
