Jumbles Country Park is a really great country park in Bolton to go walking around at any time of the year. In fact, if you take a look at my Landscape Portfolio here you’ll see lots of photos taken at Jumbles throughout the year! Most recently I took a quick walk around some of Jumbles (it’s a pretty large place) last Sunday to get back into the swing of taking photos a little. My new Nikon AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 40mm f/2.8G lens actually decided to stop working for me recently, but I’ve sent it back to the company so fingers crossed it will be back with me and working again soon.
I tried my hand at a few moody photos for this little walk (hence there’s a couple in black and white – the easiest way to add a bit of emotion into photography I think) and I took advantage of someone placing a daffodil in a tree too for a little prop. Pretty excited to see so many daffodils around lately too – Spring is coming which mean finally some flowers and more colours around, finally!
If you’ve never taken a trip to Jumbles Country Park before, it’s definitely somewhere I’d recommend if you’re a dog walker who lives a little bit close to the area – Jasper loves going for walks around the park!
For a bonus photo… the look on this little one’s face when I get my camera ready is priceless, he always knows he’s going to go on a walk!
